About Mumfords of Plymouth
W. Mumford, founded in 1900, have been meeting the motoring requirements of the Plymouth area since the introduction of the car. They have constantly adapted to meet the ever changing needs of the modern motorist and their vehicles culminating in being awarded ISO9002 Quality Assurance certification - one of the first garages in the South West to achieve this standard.
1999 saw Mumfords win the coveted Masterclub Award from Renault for Quality of Service. More recently, Mumfords have become winners of the Renault Dealer of Excellence.
As Renault franchise holders since 1982, Mumfords are confident of providing an excellent service based on a thorough knowledge of both the market and the product. The company has been trading from their prestigious site at Valley Road since the 1970s and in that time have maintained and developed their long term relationship with the motoring public of the South West. During the summer of 2001, Mumfords were extremely pleased to be appointed the official Nissan Dealer.
